It doesn't matter how long you've been out of work, Valley Transitionz can work with you through our stepping stone programme to ensure that you're ready to take that successful step back into employment.

If you want to work, then we want to help you. We'll take it step by step until you're ready to move on and try employment. You'll meet many supportive people on the way, who share your story and have been where your've been and now they're doing things they wouldn't have imagined doing years ago. From working in hospitals to working in warehouses, we've established some great relationships with many businesses in the Hutt Valley

Our stepping stone approach ensures that you will not be put into a position where you would be expected to know everything. The programme starts with volunteer work in either a community organisation or one of two activity centres around the Hutt Valley. Once we have helped you build up your confidence and skills, you will be able to apply for the Valley Transitionz work placements that are advertised. Once you are in that placement, Valley Transitionz will support you in that job. You don't have to worry about being left on your own with strangers. When you are confident enough to work on our own, we will still only be a phone call away.
