Q. What is Valley Transitionz?

A. Valley Transitionz is a not for profit organisation whose aim is to help individuals

     who have experienced mental health issues back into work.

 

Q.  Is Valley Transitionz a temping agency?

A.  Valley Transitionz does have a short term contracts department.  However, we also

      run a 6 – 9 month work placement programme. This gives our workers the

      opportunity to build up good work habits and recent work history.

 

Q.  Is there a cost to the employer to recruit through Valley Transitionz?

A.  No, Valley Transitionz takes care of the recruitment process and saves the employer

      the costs of advertising, interviewing and re-training staff.  Our short term contract

      rates are competitive.

 

Q.  Does Valley Transitionz have candidates ready for interview?

A.  Valley Transitionz has a database full of individuals ready and able to work.

      We match individual’s skills to the job specifications as closely as possible.

 

Q.  What kind of ongoing support is there for the employee and employer?

A.  Valley Transitionz staff are available throughout the whole work placement and

      for the duration of the short term contracts. We work along side the employee

      until they are confident enough to “go it alone”.  We are also there to support the

      employer as a liaison person.
